CE Marking

CE marking is neither assessment nor certification. For CE marking is proposed that the EN standard test specimens be taken from sampling of finished products. For companies like Casey Doors where all products are made to customer requirements and as such are special order, this could not be considered a viable proposition. The associated difficulties are recognized by the bodies responsible for compiling the standards and it is considered that it is likely that the random sampling be replaced by product and production facility audit, thus ensuring that there is no change to the materials or manufacturing process to that of the specimen tested. Casey Doors have had some success in relation to EN testing and we are committed to further developing our products in line with customer and legislative developments.
