Mediform Door

Where projects or applications demand the hygiene management of the environment, or where infection control is a performance requirement, our Mediform door range may just be what the doctor ordered. Examples include health and medical applications, clinical areas, cleanrooms, food preparation environments and various laboratories.

Designed specifically for such projects, our Mediform door, with anti microbial finish, clean lines and vertical edge profiling is most suitable for these unique purposes.

Encapsulated using decorative PVC facings, a material normally associated with corner protection, crash rails and barriers, our Mediform door is highly resistant to knocks and impact normally associated with areas trafficked by wheeled carts, trolleys and indeed beds or stretchers. With the facings being returned or profiled around, encapsulating the vertical edge of the door, a most vulnerable area of the door leaf is protected. Unlike HPL laminates, PVC does not have memory when shaped or profiled. Should any extreme impact occur, such as impact with carts, trolleys or the like, the surface is far less prone to splinter or crack. Our Mediform PVC encapsulated door would tend to absorb any such impact. Being solid or through coloured, should any small abrasions or surface damage occur, the effect is less perceivable than with alternative door facings or finishes including laminates, leaving door performance and function intact.

As you may expect, our Mediform door range is available in a palette of plain colours and to all of our performance standards. This includes Fire performances and lead lining to radiological areas.
